Get to know Pain Management Specialist Dr. Spiro Khoury, who serves patients throughout the State of Texas.

A highly trained pain management specialist, Dr. Khoury is affiliated with Acclaim Physician Group, working with patients at the Center for Pain Management, John Peter Smith Hospital, and Surgical Center Arlington.

Throughout his academic career, Dr. Khoury received his Bachelor of Science degree from York University in 2004, and earned his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in 2009. He then went on to complete his residency in internal medicine at St. Vincent Hospital in 2011, his residency in anesthesiology at UMass Chan Medical School in 2014, and his fellowship in pain medicine at the University of Toledo in 2015.

Passionate about his profession, the doctor is board-certified in pain medicine and anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA). As the certifying body for anesthesiologists since 1938, the ABA is committed to partnering with physicians to advance lifelong learning and exceptional patient care. Its mission is to advance the highest standards of the practice of anesthesiology.

Pain management is a branch of medicine employing an interdisciplinary approach for easing the suffering and improving the quality of life of those living with chronic pain.
