Get to know Chiropractor Dr. Lloyd A. Mietzner, who serves patients in Bloomfield, Iowa.

Dr. Mietzner is a licensed chiropractor at Doctor Who, LLC, a medical center in Bloomfield, Iowa. 

In his line of work, he evaluates and treats patients’ neuromusculoskeletal system, which includes nerves, bones, muscles, ligaments, and tendons. He uses spinal adjustments and manipulation, as well as other clinical interventions, to reduce pain and discomfort. 

Back in the early days of his academic career, Dr. Mietzner graduated with his Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University in 1973. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic.

Holding over five decades of diverse experience, he is an active member of the Iowa Chiropractic Society (ICS). The ICS is the only organization in the state that is for doctors by doctors of chiropractic working to advance and protect the profession.

Chiropractic is a form of alternative medicine that mainly deals with the detection and correction of spinal subluxations. A chiropractor uses specific scientific spinal adjustments and other techniques to manage patients’ health concerns including neck pain, back pain, headaches, vertigo and a long list of other ailments and conditions. They aim to improve patients’ functionality and quality of life by properly aligning the body’s musculoskeletal structure and enabling the body to heal itself naturally, without the use of medication or surgery.
