    You should be evaluated by a rheumatologist regardless of test results. Sometimes skin biopsy is needed to make the right diagnosis. READ MORE

    If you have crohn's disease, then indocin is not the best drug to treat gout flare as indocin can cause a crohn's flare. I suggest you speak with your doctor or see a rheumatologist to determine the right treatment plan. READ MORE

    never stop Allopurinol during a gout attack. You should continue to take alopurinol. See your doctor for treatment of acute flare and when that subsides, you may need to increase the dose of allopurinol to prevent further gout attacks from occuring.   • Autoimmune

    Raynaud's phenomenon can occur in patients with or without autoimmune dieases. Wait until your appointment with the rheumatologist who will determine if you have an underlying connective tissue diease or not. A blood test is not enough to make that diagnosis. For treatment and symptom relief I recommend conservative measures such as avoiding extremes in temperature. ( Avoid Abrupt change in temperature. ) If it iscold outside, wear gloves before you step out. Wear shoes with socks if toes are affected. Avoid stimulants such as caffeine which can worsen raynaud's phenomenon. Other then that, your doctor will assess you to determine if you need medication. READ MORE
