Born and raised in New York, Dr. Ippolito attended Bologna University Medical School in Bologna, Italy and graduated with his Medical Degree in 1960. After obtaining his Medical Degree he returned to New York and completed his internship with the Elis Hospital. Dr. Ippolito is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He currently practices within his private practice, where he works both in office and completes home visits for those unable to reach him. He is a Senior Attendant at Phelps Memorial Hospital Center in Family Medicine with full privileges. He has presently completed six years as the President of the Phelps Memorial Hospital Medical Staff. He has both the Patients Choice Award and the Compassionate Doctor Recognition for two consecutive years.
