David M. Gartman, MD, maintained a thirty year career as a skilled thoracic surgeon affiliated with the Providence Medical Center and the Swedish Medical Center. Before his retirement, he received his education at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine. He completed a residency at the Yale New Haven Hospital; in addition to completing fellowships at the University of Washington and Yale New Haven Hospital. Still passionate about thoracic surgery, Dr. Gartman maintains involved in the healthcare field through his memberships with the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, the Ross Society, the International Society for Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, and Washington Thoracic Society.
