Dr. Shawnjeet “Shawn” Saini is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist, board eligible in Interventional Pain Management, and accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). Integrated Pain Consultants is delighted to have Dr. Saini join the team.
Dr. Saini’s training and career began with a BS degree at the University of Wisconsin, followed by a Masters in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Saini then received his Doctor of Medicine degree from George Washington University in Washington D.C. After completing his residency in Anesthesiology at Rush University in Chicago, Dr. Saini attended the University of Texas at San Antonio for his Interventional Pain Management Fellowship where he received advanced clinical and procedural training in the treatment of the spine, peripheral joints, and other causes for chronic pain.
Based on his advanced training in biotechnology and anesthesiology, Dr. Saini believes in the intersection of technology and medicine is the future for the treatment of chronic pain disorders. He has a keen interest in neuromodulation through the use of spinal cord stimulation to address patient pain. Dr. Saini also understands pain can be both a physical and emotional experience that is unique to each patient and works diligently to understand the underlying cause and develop a treatment plan tailored for each patient.
In his spare time, Dr. Saini enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, playing sports, and is a die-hard Packers fan. You will most likely find Dr. Saini watching the Packers games with his family of “cheese heads” during the season.
