Licensed in New York, California, and Hawaii, Dr. Fickes received her Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree with honors from New York Chiropractic College in 1984. She also holds a bachelor’s degree, graduating magna cum laude, from Michigan State University.
Emphasizing the balance between mind, body, and spirit in her work, she has practiced meditation and spiritual studies for over 30 years. She has taught and written articles that have been published in the United States, the United Kingdom, and New Zealand on this topic. She has also taught courses on using intuition in the healing process at the University of Hawaii and other locations and adds her intuitive skills to her technical capacities.
