She served her residency in internal medicine and her fellowship in nephrology at the University of South Florida Affiliated Hospitals in 2002 and 2004, respectively.
A member of the Sarasota County Medical Society, she is board-certified in internal medicine and nephrology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
