Get to know Critical Care Registered Nurse Mariah Meenach, who serves patients in Tyler, Texas.

Mariah is a motivated, dependable, and proactive critical care registered nurse, licensed paramedic, and aesthetic injector. She works at CHRISTUS Louis and Peaches Owen Heart Hospital in Tyler, Texas.

CHRISTUS Louis and Peaches Owen Heart Hospital is the first and only heart hospital in East Texas, providing the most comprehensive heart care using advanced technology to treat patients for the most common heart issues to complex multiple bypass surgical procedures.

In regards to her educational background, Mariah completed her Associate Degree in Nursing at Tyler Junior College in 2020. Following that, in 2021, she obtained her Bachelor of Nursing Degree from Western Governors University. Looking ahead, in 2025, she is scheduled to complete her Master of Science Degree in the AGACNP Program from UT Arlington.

Among her professional affiliations, Mariah is an esteemed member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons and the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses.

Her reputation preceded her when she was honored as Texas Best Nurse for 2024 in The Best in Texas Magazine. Additionally, Mariah was recognized as a Registered Nurse in East Texas by Medical Professionals Tyler in the same year, attributing her success to setting and pursuing career goals, seeking mentorship, developing essential skills like communication, empathy, reliability, and honesty, and continuously staying abreast on the best practices of nursing. 

Actively involved in charities and philanthropic endeavors, Mariah is the founder of the annual Christmas Toy Drive with CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Heart Hospital and Smith County ESD #2.

Outside of nursing, she finds joy in hunting, fishing, outdoor activities, caring for her four dogs, and engaging in sports such as softball, baseball, and football. Her preferred vacation destination is Panama City Beach, Florida.
