Get to know Reproductive Endocrinologist and Infertility Specialist Dr. Jay M. Bolnick, who serves patients in West Seneca, New York.

Recognized as a top reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist, Dr. Bolnick specializes in both fertility medicine and high-risk pregnancies. He works at OB/GYN Associates of WNY, where he remains committed to providing comprehensive care for pregnant women with special health concerns such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, and other conditions that can affect a pregnancy.

Located in West Seneca, New York, the mission of OB/GYN Associates of WNY is to provide the highest quality obstetrical and gynecological care available in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. A native of New Jersey, Dr. Bolnick’s acclaimed career in medicine began after he earned his medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. He then went on to complete his residency at Tulane University in New Orleans. He was an Assistant Professor at the University of Connecticut, where he was twice awarded Teacher of the Year. Thereafter, wanting to further his training, he completed his fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Wayne State University.

With over four decades of experience in his field, the doctor has authored over fifteen manuscripts. Moreover, he is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology, maternal-fetal medicine, & reproductive endocrinology, and infertility by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The ABOG is a non-profit organization that provides board certification for practicing obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States and Canada.

Reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI) is a surgical subspecialty of obstetrics and gynecology that trains physicians in reproductive medicine addressing hormonal functioning as it pertains to the reproduction, as well as the issue of infertility. While most REI specialists primarily focus on the treatment of infertility, reproductive endocrinologists are trained to also evaluate and treat hormonal dysfunctions in females and males outside after the reproductive years.

On a more personal note, Dr. Bolnick resides in Buffalo with his Great Dane. He enjoys golf, tennis, and fine wine.
