Having been in private practice since 1981, Dr. Boitet is still as enthusiastic about the profession as he was then. “Dentistry has made many wonderful and exciting changes and advances. Our practice prides itself in staying at the forefront and providing our patient family with the best and newest, yet proven, technologies and treatments. We attend a lot of continuing education courses in order to achieve this” he stated.
Having grown up in Fort Wayne, Indiana, he attended Indiana University for both undergraduate degree and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, graduating with honors. He was honored to receive an academic-based scholarship from the U.S. Navy and was stationed in Jacksonville as soon as he graduated from dental school.
Extremely proud of his community involvement, the dentist and his staff take on a new, major community charitable endeavor each quarter. Many of their patients contribute to these charitable endeavors and are entered into Doctors Lake Family Dental’s monthly drawings and contents for their participation.
Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. As a general and cosmetic dentist, Dr. Boitet has the skills necessary to complete an array of procedures that are both simple or complex in nature. He is a Diplomat of the American Sleep and Breathing Academy and a member of the International Academy of Sleep.
