I am a program director for a family medicine residency program. Candidates must be graduates of an accredited allopathic (md) or osteopathic (DO) Medical school and have passed at least 2 of 3 parts of the national licensing exams to apply for a residency position. Back in 1976, Dr. Schneider graduated with his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from AT Still University Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then went on to perform his internship and residency in family medicine at Grandview Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio.
A Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (FACOFP), he is board-certified in family medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP). The AOBFP is an organization that provides board certification to qualified osteopathic physicians who specialize in delivering comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, genders, and addressing all parts of the body.
For more than 10 years, Dr. Schneider has served as a California delegate to the American Osteopathic Association House of Delegates.
