Get to know Prosthodontist Dr. Avi Donitza, who serves patients in Beverly Hills, California.
A maxillo-facial prosthodontist, Dr. Donitza has been practicing in Beverly Hills, California since 2001. He is a co-owner of Oral Construx – a specialty practice limited to Prosthodontics and Maxillo-Facial Prosthetics.
Providing excellent care for a lifetime of dental health, comfort and beauty, his expertise include aesthetic dentistry, implant reconstruction, full mouth rehabilitation, partial and complete dentures, TMJ and sleep apnea, as well as correcting bite and jaw issues. As a Maxillo-facial Prosthodontist, he collaborates with medical teams, providing treatment to patients with head & neck cancer, radiation patients, and prosthetic rehabilitation of cancer patients following surgery.
Born in Israel, Dr. Donitza obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in 1982 and his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry Degree in 1985 from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He served 5 years as a dentist in the Israeli army, providing prosthetic treatment to army personnel and their families.
After his military service, Dr. Donitza established a private practice in Haifa, Israel, and served as a clinical instructor in the Department of Fixed Prosthodontics at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
Transitioning to the United States, Dr. Donitza joined the Department of Prosthodontics and the Center for Esthetic Dentistry at UCLA in 1993. He completed two years of education in prosthodontics and implant dentistry while preparing for the California State Board Dental Exam, obtaining his dental license in June 1995.
Dr. Donitza was accepted into the prestigious three-year residency in Advanced Prosthodontics at UCLA School of Dentistry, earning his Prosthodontics Certificate in 1999. He completed an additional one-year residency at UCLA, receiving his Maxillo-Facial Prosthodontics Certificate, in June 2001.
Dr. Donitza is an active member of the American College of Prosthodontists, the Academy of Osseointegration, and the International College of Prosthodontics. He is a member of several study clubs, the West Coast ITI Study Club, and he is a past president of the Beverly Hills Academy of Dentistry.
