Dr. Adolphe is a board-certified pediatrician & Co-Director of the Grow Clinic for Children at Boston Medical Center (BMC).

The Grow Clinic for Children is an outpatient subspecialty clinic at BMC that started in 1984 to provide comprehensive specialty medical, nutritional, developmental and social services and dietary assistance to children from the Greater Boston area referred with Failure To Thrive (FTT) by their primary care physician.

FTT is a condition by which a child’s growth and development falls short and is often attributed to malnourishment. The patient significantly lags in height or weight, falling at risk for long-term effects, including impaired motor skills or delayed learning and language skills.

Born in Haiti, Dr. Adolphe came to the United States when she was a young adult. She has a brother with special needs who inspired her to pursue a career in pediatric medicine and make a positive impact in children’s lives, especially those with special needs.

Upon graduating with her medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School in 2003, she went on to perform her residency in pediatrics at Baystate Medical Center from 2003 until 2006.

Board-certified in pediatrics, Dr. Adolphe is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics, whose mission is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.

Teaching students, she serves as a Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine.

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends individuals be under pediatric care up to the age of 21. Pediatricians provide medical care to people ranging in age from newborns to young adults. They are trained to examine, diagnose, and treat children with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses through all of their developmental stages, as they grow and mature.

On a more personal note, Dr. Adolphe is fluent in English and Haitian Creole.
