Get to know Psychiatrist Dr. Mridula Kamthan, who serves patients in Middletown, New York.

Dr. Kamthan is a dual board-certified psychiatrist who is affiliated with Access Support for living and Astor Services for children and families in Middletown, New York. She has about 25 years of experience in the field of Adult, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She helps patients with issues relating to a wide variety of mental health disorders. 

Back in 1975, Dr. Kamthan graduated with her medical degree from Sawai Man Singh Medical College in India. She then relocated to the United States, performing her residency in internal medicine at the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall University. She followed this up with a residency in psychiatry and a fellowship in child & adolescent psychiatry at Charleston Area Medical Center, West Virginia University.

Specializing in the care of mental health disorders. She is board-certified in Adult Psychiatry & Child and Adolescent Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.
