Academically, Dr. Schlueter graduated with his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine – UNT Health Science Center in 1988. He then served his residency in psychiatry at the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in 1992.
A member of the American Osteopathic Association, he is a Diplomate of the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry (AOBNP). The AOBNP is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) who specialize in disorders of the nervous system (neurologists) and to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders (psychiatrists).
