Get to know Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist Dr. Yuli Fradkin, who serves patients in New Jersey.

Passionate about helping people that need it the most, Dr. Fradkin is a child & adolescent psychiatrist seeing patients at his private practice, Fradkin Medical, where he works alongside Dr. Michael Feldman, M.Sc., PA-C. He operates out of Manhattan, New York & Fort Lee and Montclair, New Jersey.

There are thousands of things that can go wrong with a parent and their child. Modern neuroscience is in the process of identifying and resolving these issues. Dr. Fradkin feels privileged to be in the center of that movement and to share his knowledge and skills with his colleagues and patients.

Having been a doctor in the medical field for over 25 years, he has worked with institutions such as Beth Israel Hospital, Tufts Medical Center, and Yale Medical School. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and Yale Medical School. These experiences enhance his ability to provide top quality care for his patients, as he is up to date in many cutting-edge areas of research.

Academically, Dr. Fradkin earned his medical degree from the Russian State Medical University. Upon immigrating to the United States, he studied among influential psychiatrists and therapists in New York and Boston. He completed a residency in psychiatry at Beth Israel Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in child & adolescent psychiatry at Tufts Medical Center.

Working in inpatient and outpatient settings, supervising medical students, and conducting psychiatric research, the doctor is board-certified in psychiatry & child and adolescent psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.

Child and adolescent psychiatry, also known as pediatric psychiatry, is a branch of psychiatry that focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental disorders in children, adolescents, and their families. A child and adolescent psychiatrist is a physician who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of thinking, feeling, as well as behavior affecting children, adolescents, and their families.

On a more personal note, Dr. Fradkin is fluent in both English and Russian.
