Dr. Watiker was raised in the quaint city of Zanesville, located near Columbus, Ohio. She pursued her undergraduate studies at Albion College in Michigan and earned her Master’s Degree in genetic counseling from Sarah Lawrence College in New York. Subsequently, she relocated to the West Coast to serve as a genetic counselor at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. It was during her tenure at Cedars Sinai that Dr. Watiker discovered her genuine calling: to become a physician. She attended the UC Irvine School of Medicine, finishing her internship and residency in Pediatrics and Medical Genetics at Cedars Sinai in 2006, and achieved Board Certification in 2007. Since then, she has operated a private pediatric practice in West Los Angeles, along with an adult and pediatric consultative genetics practice both independently and at several prominent institutions. Dr. Watiker holds a position on the staff at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, where she serves as the Clinical Chief of Pediatrics. Additionally, she is affiliated with Providence St. John’s Hospital in Santa Monica, UC Irvine, and the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where she acts as an Associate Clinical Professor, providing patient care through telemedicine. In her leisure time, Dr. Watiker enjoys spending quality moments with her family and pets, as well as swimming and horseback riding.

- Comes from my passion for working with patient ato figuure out the cause of their rare disorder. I am an advocate providing medical repair and work with university via telehealth to provide medical services as well.
