Dr. Rotstein is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine, knee and shoulder conditions. Joining Barrington Orthopedic Specialists in 2010, he operates out of the offices in Schaumburg, Elk Grove Village, and Buffalo Grove, Illinois. 

There, he performs advanced arthroscopy of the knee and shoulder, including revision ligament reconstruction and rotator cuff repair, and knee replacement. Dr. Rotstein focuses on restoring his patients to their optimal functional ability as quickly as possible.

Furthering his training, he performed both his internship in general surgery and his residency in orthopedic surgery at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He followed up with a fellowship in sports medicine at Baylor College of Medicine.

Dedicated to surgical excellence, Dr. Rotstein is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS). The ABOS is an organization with the goal of establishing educational and professional standards for orthopedic residents and surgeons as well as evaluating the qualifications and competence of orthopedic surgeons.
