Get to know Urologist Dr. Albert P. Tarasuk, who serves patients in Flushing, New York.

A caring and diligent urologist, Dr. Tarasuk has been in practice for more than 30 years with expertise in prostate benign disease, bladder surgery, and kidney stones. He currently practices at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens located in Flushing, New York.

In his professional experience, he is affiliated with Flushing Hospital Medical Center, Long Island Jewish Medical Center, NewYork-Presbyterian Queens, and NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

The doctor’s acclaimed career in medicine began after he earned his medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Science. He then went on to serve his residency in urology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

In addition to being a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), Dr. Tarasuk is board-certified in urology by the American Board of Urology. The mission of the ABU is to act for the benefit of the public by working with certified urologists to achieve lifelong learning to insure the delivery of high quality, safe, and ethical urologic care.

Urology is the branch of medicine that focuses on surgical and medical diseases of the male and female urinary-tract system and the male reproductive organs.
