Get to know Internist Dr. Dean McFarlane-Parrott, who serves patients in Lansing, Michigan.

Dr. Parrott is an internist currently working at Heron Creek DPC in Okemos, Michigan. 

Throughout his academic career, the doctor earned a Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Creighton University and Michigan State University. 

Prior to his work in direct patient care, Dr. Parrott held the position of Assistant Professor of Medicine at Michigan State University from December 2013 to December 2017. This role showcased not only clinical expertise but also a dedication to educating the next generation of medical professionals. Additionally, he served as a Staff Physician at Lansing Urgent Care in Lansing, Michigan, from October 2018 to March 2020. 

Internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Physicians specializing in internal medicine are called internists.
