Before the start of her career, Dr. Gonzalez-Brown graduated with her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 1999. She served her internship at the University of Oklahoma, her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Keesler Medical Center, and her fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.
Since 2008, she has been serving as an Assistant Professor at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. Prior to her current endeavours, she served as the OB/GYN Medical Director at Aviano Medical Center (2005 – 2008), the Division Chief of the Outpatient Clinic at San Antonio Military Medical Center (2010 – 2012), the OB/Gyn Clinic Chief/Flight Commander at Lakenheath Medical Center (2012 – 2015), the Chief Medical Officer at Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center (2015 – 2017), and a Clinical Professor at The Ohio State University (2017 – 2020).
Among her professional affiliations, Dr. Gonzalez-Brown is a member of the Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Medical Association, and the American Medical Women’s Association.
