With a broad educational background, Dr. Csikai began his medical education by completing his undergraduate studies at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. He then went on to obtain his medical degree from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in 1990.

Upon graduation, he served three years in the U.S. Navy and trained in general surgery at the University Medical Center in Jacksonville. Dr. Csikai then went on to receive his certificate in plastic surgery at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City. Subsequent to his plastic surgery training, he performed an additional year of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery at the Charlotte Plastic Surgery Center in North Carolina. He received training in the most recent advances in plastic surgery, including endoscopic surgery and laser surgery.

A member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the doctor is board-certified in plastic surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS). The mission of the ABPS is to promote safe, ethical, efficacious plastic surgery to the public by maintaining high standards for the education, examination, certification, and continuous certification of plastic surgeons as specialists and subspecialists.

In affiliation with Baptist Health, Dr. Csikai remains affiliated with Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville, Baptist Medical Center Beaches, and Baptist Medical Center South.
