Depends. Could be only a few months to as long as a year. MDSDDS READ MORE
Is it bad to keep mouthwash in your mouth too long?
Over one minute is a waste of time. If rinse contains alcohol, over 1 min could cause long-term harm. MDSDDS READ MORE
What is the strongest material for a dental crown?
Either gold alloy or Bruxzir Zirconia. MDSDDS READ MORE
How can I tighten my gums around my teeth?
Loose gums indicate gum disease. Make sure your teeth are scrupulously clean. If things don’t improve get your mouth professionally cleaned to make sure you don’t have gum disease. Good Luck, MDSDDS READ MORE
How can I remove calculus from my teeth at home?
There are various instruments online, but actually this is not recommended because you can damage fillings and gums, and it is impossible for you to remove all calculus from under the gum line. MDSDDS READ MORE
Do dentists recommend Invisalign?
Yes. Also recommend ClearCorrect, which is totally engineered and made in USA. READ MORE
What is the best way to clean dental implants?
Use a brush and floss followed by an oral irrigator/water pic at right angles to the implant/tooth. Ask your dentist for further details. MDSDDS READ MORE
How can I deep clean my gums at home?
Not possible. Below the gum line cleaning requires a professional. Sorry. MDSDDS READ MORE
How long should dentures pain last?
Should only have intermittent discomfort at the most. MDSDDS READ MORE

Cosmetic bonding, porcelain veneers, or Invisalign are all possibilities. Depends on your bite and general shape of your teeth. MDSDDS READ MORE
Can you get an infection after a root canal?
Yes. It is possible. MDSDDS READ MORE
Can a bridge be recemented?
If it just became unbonded and the anchor teeth are still sound, generally, yes. If there is tooth or filling inside the unbonded anchor crowns, not as likely. MDSDDS READ MORE
Can tooth sensitivity go away on its own?
It is possible at times. Depends on the cause and if it’s a single tooth or all the teeth and what type of stimulus causes the sensitivity. MDSDDS READ MORE
Why does my gum look white after a tooth extraction?
The mouth does not form scabs while healing. The whitish appearance indicates normal healing in most cases. MDSDDS READ MORE
How many teeth can be on a bridge?
Max would depend on the strength of the anchor teeth. Generally, replacing 4 missing teeth in a row between two strong anchor teeth would be the most, but conditions can vary. MDSDDS READ MORE
How many implants does it take to replace all your teeth?
Most cost effective is 4 locator implants with a securely fastened but removable denture. But going to a “Clearchoice” center for a totally fixed replacement could cost over $30,000 and could need upwards of four implants. And these figures are PER DENTAL ARCH. There are two arches per mouth. I personally have patients that demand an implant per tooth. MDSDDS READ MORE
Can wisdom teeth cause your gums to swell?
Yes. Could be normal or infection. Dentist consult if gets worse. MDSDDS READ MORE
