Cailyne Ghazarian is a physician assistant practicing in Providence, RI. Physician Assistants (PAs) are licensed clinicians who practice medicine in every specialty and setting. Cailyne specializes in both emergency medicine and family medicine. She has worked in the emergency department of Rhode Island Hospital and The Miriam Hospital for 12 years, during which time she has treated a multitude of acute medical conditions and injuries. She also has specialized training as a sexual assault forensic examiner.
For the last year Cailyne has also worked in the Express Clinic at the Providence Commnunity Health Centers (PCHC), a non-profit health care organization and the only Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Providence, Rhode Island. PCHC provides quality health care services that are affordable, comprehensive and culturally sensitive to more than 80,000 residents of Providence and its surrounding areas.
In addition to working clinically, Cailyne also serves as adjunct faculty at the Bryant University and Johnson & Wales University PA programs.

What do you attribute your success to?
- I attribute my success to the love and support of my family. As the daughter of immigrant parents, the value of hard work and a good education was instilled in me at a young age. Through each chapter in my education and career, my family has been there to cheer me on. They remain by biggest supporters to this day.

- I teach at the PA programs of Bryant University and Johnson & Wales University. In addition to giving lectures on topics in emergency medicine, I also precept students during their clinical rotations in the emergency department.

- Any new destination! I love traveling to different corners of the world
