  • I take blood thinners regularly. Is acupuncture dangerous for me?

Hi!! I completely understand the concern. The needles we use are hair thin and with the necessary precautions and in the hands of a trained practitioner it should be a safe procedure. I would avoid points that tend to bleed more and when taking the needles out extra pressure should be applied. Acupuncture is a great tool for stress management. Let your doctor talk to you acupuncturist :-) READ MORE

Hi! Acupuncture is a great complimentary therapy to ART, improving implantation rates up to 70%. Depending on the Diagnosis of your Acupuncturist, needles will be inserted into different acupuncture points and they will vary according to your cycle. Hands and legs are some of the most frequent places used. There are some points that are forbidden for pregnant women and any professional, licensed acupuncturist is well aware of them. Good luck and take care!! Soledad READ MORE

  • Is acupuncture a better alternative to opioids?

I would absolutely try acupuncture for pain management. Surgeons and PT are refering patients more frequently to alternative pain management therapies after surgery because definitively opioid dependency is a primary concern. That being said you should always listen to your surgeons advise and always consult with him/she when making changes with your medication. Hope you feel better soon!! READ MORE
