About

Hello! I'm Ebelechukwu Ekwenugo, a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a passion for delivering compassionate and individualized care to my clients. With over three years of specialized experience in mental health across various settings including inpatient, outpatient, telepsychiatry, and substance abuse treatment, I've honed my skills to support your journey to wellness.

My nursing background spans 14 years, where I've cultivated expertise in behavioral health, urgent care, home health, and pediatric care. I believe in a patient-centered approach that respects your unique needs and circumstances. My goal is to work with you to create a path towards healing that integrates evidence-based treatments with the warmth and understanding everyone deserves.

Education has always been a cornerstone of my practice. I hold a Master's of Nursing Science from Walden University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington.
In my practice, I focus on accurate diagnosis and personalized treatment plans. Whether it's through cognitive-behavioral therapy or other therapeutic techniques, I strive to guide you towards self-actualization and recovery.

I'm well-versed in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. I take pride in creating supportive environments both for patients and their families. Understanding your condition and treatment plan is crucial, which is why I emphasize clear communication and education throughout our time together.

If you're looking for a healthcare partner who values teamwork, empathy, and professional excellence, I'm here for you. Let's embark on this healing journey together.

Treatment philosophy

I believe that every patient is unique and deserves an indivudualized approach of treatment. My goal is to provide an indivuadualized and holistic care while creating  partnership between patients, their families and myself.  I'm well-versed in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and have experience working closely with law enforcement officials when necessary. Your safety, well-being, and peace of mind are my top priorities.

I take pride in creating supportive environments both for patients and their families. Understanding your condition and treatment plan is crucial, which is why I emphasize clear communication and education throughout our time together.
