Co-founder of Earth, Wind & Fire performed while coping Parkinson's disease

Maurice White was one of the founding methods of Earth, Wind & Fire. He was also diagnosed with Parkinson's disease when he was 50 years old, in 1992. But, according to him, he struggled with the first symptoms during the 1980s when his group was more popular. And, after his diagnosis, he kept quiet about his Parkinson's for about eight years. In an interview with Rolling Stone, White stated, "I traveled with the band for five years with Parkinson's. I was treating it with medication then, and I still have it under control. It's not taking anything away from me." White died recently in 2016, at age 74.
