Whitney Houston's Mom, Cissy Houston, Is In the Early Stages of Dementia
Cissy Houston's children always came first in her heart and life
Her statement went on to say, "I spent many years in recording studios (sometimes with Dionne and/or Dee Dee) where I earned my living. I also went 'on the road' with my group The Sweet Inspirations to try to help provide a good life for my family BUT my children always came first in my heart and in my life."
And even after her daughter's death it showed. After Whitney Houston passed away, Cissy Houston penned a book entitled Remembering Whitney, where she wrote about Whitney's rise to fame in the music industry and her battle with drug addiction.
