A Canadian Bookstore Is Run Entirely by People With Autism

Final thoughts

Though they were originally funded by outside organizations and donations from their community, ARM Book Nook is quickly becoming a self-sustaining and profitable business. These young adults are also getting valuable life experience including necessary skills to get hired. Everyone needs to have a purpose, and everyone needs to earn money so they can take care of themselves. This innovative bookstore helps ensure that autistic young people aren’t left out in their community.
