Looking toward the future
Sometimes, it can seem like movement towards finding a cure for Crohn’s disease is too slow. 2017, however, has been anything but stagnant when it comes to the Crohn’s community. New research about the effects of lifestyle and environment on the disease as well as further studies into the roles of individual cells are working towards pinpointing a cause for this disease. Additionally, the community remains active through events that raise both awareness and funds for further research. As we progress, medical professionals will certainly develop more sophisticated methods for treating Crohn’s disease and move increasingly closer towards pinpointing what causes this disease. With time, a cure may be found for Crohn’s once and for all.
