Eggs are an inexpensive, convenient form of quick protein, are high in calories, and contain vitamin D, vitamin B6, and vitamin B9 (folic acid). Eggs can be cooked in any way (even microwaved) but the yolks should be consumed. Eggs are also great sources of pantothenic acid and biotin which help metabolize fats, carbs, and proteins.
