The Connection Between the Epstein-Barr Virus and Multiple Sclerosis

Ashton Embry is doing personal research to advance MS diagnosis

It is natural to question how exactly a link between EBV and MS would have an impact on the community, and to answer this, one can look to the Embry family.

Ashton Embry, of Calgary, Canada, is a retired research scientist. His son, Matt Embry, has multiple sclerosis, and as such, Ashton has become an MS advocate since. However, he is not out there fundraising, he is putting forth his efforts in a much more personal manner, doing what he does best - he is researching to try to help his son.

The motive behind his research is that he believes if he is able to reduce each probable cause, his son will have the best shot possible at fighting the condition.
