Study Looks into Fibromyalgia's Link to Skin Nerve Issues

To determine whether pain in the body is directly connected to fibromyalgia, Italian researchers conducted a study about the Pain Processing and Vegetative Dysfunction in Fibromyalgia. The researchers were specifically interested in finding out the correlation among Sympathetic Skin Response (SSR), pain features in fibromyalgia, and Laser Evoked Potentials (LEPs). There were 50 fibromyalgia patients and 30 control group participants who underwent the clinical evaluation.
