Everyone is allowed to have a ‘blue day’ once in a while or to be in a foul mood for a few hours. If however, that moodiness continues for a long period of time or affects the ability to get through day to day activities, it could be a sign of something serious.

Fibro can have an impact on a patient’s mental health, aside from the stress of dealing with what is considered to be an invisible disease. There is also the fear of the unknown and everything else that comes along with it. Poor sleep and feelings of exhaustion can also exacerbate depression and anxiety.
