Know the law when it comes to bathroom usage
Did you know that some states might have laws that protect you from being rejected for using a bathroom? It's the Restroom Access Act, otherwise known as Ally's Law. This rule states that if you've got a medical condition that requires that you have urgent access to a bathroom - even stores or restaurants can't deny you their restroom if they only have an employee bathroom. The only thing is, not everyone knows about this law, but it's nice to know your rights. If you've really gotta go, you've really gotta go, and you can stand your ground knowing there is a law in place to protect you and help you live better with Crohn's or colitis.
