Celebrities with Fibromyalgia: Facing an Invisible Illness

What Does Fibromyalgia Feel Like?

Those suffering from fibromyalgia say that tissue and muscle pain can include achy misery, an intense burning sensation or unbearable stabbing or throbbing. In most cases, the pain occurs in myofascial trigger points or muscles nodules leading to full-body agony and restricted movement.

Lynne Matallana, a co-founder of the National Fibromyalgia Association, said that pain radiates out such that your hair, skin, nails and everything else hurts. She said that anything that comes in contact hurts. She could not wear jewelry or wear anything with rough texture or collar.
