The app called MS Energise uses an evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach. These types of therapeutic approaches have been researched, developed, and trialed in controlled clinical trials and found successful in MS fatigue management. According to CBT is a type of psychotherapy that is short-term, goal oriented, and takes a hand-on practical approach to problem solving. It aims to change patterns of thinking or behavior that are responsible or at least partially responsible for the emotional difficulties that people face. By doing this, CBT thus changes the way that people feel. CBT focuses on the relationship between our problems, behavior, and thoughts. This makes it successful in identifying patterns and factors that can be adjusted to achieve certain goals.
