Diet and Nutrition Tips for Lymphoma

Have the right carbs

Carbohydrates are the main source of energy for your body, and getting enough carbohydrates is essential in giving your body the energy it needs to function and fight off lymphoma cells. The reason many people think of carbohydrates as detrimental is because they think of white starchy foods, which can raise your blood pressure and alter your body's insulin regulation. The key is to eat whole grain or "brown" starches like brown rice, or whole wheat bread and pasta. Don't forget veggies, legumes, and seeds are carbs too.
