Real-Time Multiple Sclerosis Tracking App Debuts

The official name of the Novartis study is Evaluation of Evidence from Smart Phone Sensors and Patient-Reported Outcomes in Participants with Multiple Sclerosis. Participants submit data through the elevateMS app, which was created using Apple’s ResearchKit platform. The data collected will help researchers who hope to gain deeper insight into the daily lives of MS patients through questionnaires, passive movement data, active sensor-based movement data, and performance tasks completed by participants.
