Paul Brandt is Canadian, but he sings country music like he was born in the United States. Born and raised in Calgary, Brant’s demo tape was heard by the right people at Warner Music. Brandt was working as a pediatric RN when he got his big break. His famous single My Heart Has a History might have been written during his first career as a nurse.
