Fitness Program for Children with Autism

This program has a 3-year master plan, eventually aiming to work with college campuses and other community settings

Year 1:

  • Successfully implementing, evaluating, altering, and re-evaluating the program
  • Using technology within the program
  • Searching for additional funding opportunities

Year 2:

  • Re-testing altered interventions
  • Connecting current participants with mentors (past participants)
  • Engaging participants and their families
  • Enrolling for additional funding for translational clinical research

Year 3:

  • Expanding within the county school district with telemedicine/outreach
  • Adapting the program to college campuses and other settings among the community for individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders
