Fitness Program for Children with Autism
This program has a 3-year master plan, eventually aiming to work with college campuses and other community settings
Year 1:
- Successfully implementing, evaluating, altering, and re-evaluating the program
- Using technology within the program
- Searching for additional funding opportunities
Year 2:
- Re-testing altered interventions
- Connecting current participants with mentors (past participants)
- Engaging participants and their families
- Enrolling for additional funding for translational clinical research
Year 3:
- Expanding within the county school district with telemedicine/outreach
- Adapting the program to college campuses and other settings among the community for individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders
