Two studies recently completed by a team from Boston’s Children’s Hospital and the University of California at San Francisco both began to explore more deeply the relationship between genetic mutations and autism. The studies focused on different parts of the examined individuals’ genes, but both were seeking to understand the relationship between autism and genetics at the micro level.
