Blood work and symptom question?

For just over a month I have had a tender right backside. I had a urine test that shows no bacteria growth but a leukocyte esterase of 2+. My blood work has my monocyte percentage at 14% I feel okay otherwise. Just tenderness in my side and dr said no UTI because of no bacteria. I am really concerned about my high monocyte percentage. It does usually run at 12% but this time was marked abnormal at 14. Any insight would be helpful.

Complete blood count needs to be repeated. If it is persistently elevated, I would refer to a hematologist to r/o blood disorder. Regular exercise is an important component for good health and it can maintain the right blood count.
