“Breakthrough bleeding”
I am currently experiencing breakthrough bleeding. I am currently also on antibiotics and wondered if this could be a contributing factor to the bleeding. I have been experiencing mild cramping and light to medium bleeding in a light pink colour.

Yes, the antibiotics can affect the metabolization of the pill and use a backup method while on antibiotics. This should resolve, but the pill may not be as effective while on birth control.
