“Bruised kidney ”
I was wrestling with my son and I slipped off the bed hitting my kidney on a speaker box the pain was excruciating, i couldn't move or breath for a few mins , it was hard to walk thee pain was severe for a couple hours ,I can feel swelling although it hurts today its not as severe ? Do I need to see a dr?

Most likely, this is the injury of muscle and bone but if you’re concerned about kidney injury, you have to get a CAT scan of your abdomen and kidney to rule out any kidney injury. You can go to emergency room. They will do it there.
My question would be have you noticed any changes in your urination? Such as changes in color, like gross blood or blood tinged or dark, Coca-Cola or tea colored urine. If none of that is present chances are that it’s just a bruised muscle, or another words, a hematoma, and one of the muscles in your back.
