Hi! Yes chiropractors can work on bunions and the rest of your body !
They can but ordinarily it would be podiatry or orthopedic surgeon or physical therapy before a Chiropractor
No
I am not sure. However, some manipulation of mild bunion deformity may provide some relief at the 1st metatarsal phalangeal joint , and wearing orthotics to prevent worsening of the foot condition,. The orthotics may help to control and/or decrease the abnormal or over pronation motion (the rolling inward direction of the heel after initial heel contacts the supporting surface) at the subtalar and mid-tarsal joints on closed kinetic ambulation. These two joint a important in how the foot function properly during the gait cycle while walking.

Chiropractors are not specifically trained to treat bunions. You should consider seeing a podiatrist or orthopedic surgeon.

Bunions are a structural deformity that take years to develop. The only way to correct a bunion is surgery. A chiropractor would not be able to help in that instance. If it only hurts in shoes, you may want to try wider shoes.
A Chiropractor could massage your bunion joint but that is not really treating the deformity. Chiropractors are not trained nor are they legally permitted to perform any invasive procedures on the human body. You should consult with a Board Certified Podiatric Surgeon who is certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
Bunions are usually treated by podiatrists
To treat a bunion, known medically as hallux abducto valgus, requires a surgical procedure on the 1st metatarsal. Chiropractors are not trained or licensed to perform those procedures. You should seek out a surgical podiatrist or orthopedic surgeon experienced in foot surgery (a sub-specialty in orthopedics).
No, you need a foot and ankle surgeon for bunions

That depends on what you mean by 'work' on bunions. Can a chiropractor fix or reposition a bunion? NO. Can a chiropractor manipulate a bunion and try to put the joint through a range of motion? YES. Will a chiropractor be able to fix a bunion? NO
Bunions develop due to altered bio mechanics. I recommend you make an appointment with a foot and ankle surgeon (podiatrist) for diagnosis and treatment options
