Dissociative identity disorders?

I'm making a definition paragraph about DID for school to better understand it. I don't have a disorder or something, I just wanted to make sure that is there really 2 types of DID? Are Covert and Overt the types? I've been looking to other websites about it, some don't really mention it. They just say that there are three types of dissociative disorders: Dissociative identity disorder, Dissociative amnesia, and Depersonalization/derealization disorder. But what I'm really asking for is about the Types of Dissociative Identity Disorder, Specifically. Is Covert and Overt the two types of DID? Or does DID have a type?

A disorder characterized by the presence of two or more distinct personality states.
Dissociative identity disorder, previously called multiple personality disorder, is usually a reaction to trauma as a way to help a person avoid bad memories
According to the DSM5, there are 3 distinct dissociative disorders: Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), Dissociative Amnesia, and Depersonalization/Derealization Disorder. There are no subtypes for DID.

I hope this has been helpful!
