Infertility Specialist Questions IVF

Does IVF cause any problems for the baby?

I am 34 years old and despite of trying for the last 6 years, I have been unable to conceive. I am planning to now undergo IVF, but does this put my child at a risk of any deformities?

The IVF procedure in itself does not put the resulting child at an increased risk for deformities. You should have this conversation with your doctor prior to beginning your egg retrieval cycle.
