Ophthalmologist Questions

Eye mole

I noticed a mole on my left eye lacrimal caruncle for the first time today. I have no history of melanomas or anything eye related. I wear prescription contacts and I take no medications. It is not painful or itchy. It is a brown bump that is pretty small.

Its not uncommon to have pigmented areas on the conjunctiva so most likely normal, especially in a young healthy person. You can follow it at home with photos, or better yet, an eye doctor can take a high magnification picture for reference-
This lesion is probably a Nevis of the caruncle but it shoul be examined by an ophthalmologist to rule out melanoma.
